When you expand your networks, you expand your opportunities from getting a job to getting a ride to school/work in the morning and even expands your dating options.

While having a strong network gives you a huge advantage in life, so will having a lot of knowledge. Remember, the best way to build your network is to know how to do it correctly which means providing value to others. The best way to provide value to others is to be able to execute. And the best way to be able to execute is to be knowledgeable in your field. So you need to focus on networking and your studies.
