A great way of holding yourself responsible for achieving your networking goals is by having an Accountability Partner.

It doesn’t have to be your best friend, but it definitely needs to be someone who will hold you to a promise and follow up to ensure you’re on the right path.

Choose a person from your networks who you know, like, and trust to hold you accountable. It should be someone who will help you set attainable goals, stick to your commitments, and accomplish what you set out to do. They need to be comfortable enough with your relationship to call you out when you’re not following through.
