Bill O’Herron is the Director of Capital markets at Cygnus Capital, a boutique alternative asset manager based in Atlanta, GA. He has spent the last 30+ years in the financial field, building meaningful relationships with his investing clients.
Over the last 12 years, Bill, a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW), has also had an evenings and weekends counseling practice. He jokes that counseling is just a hobby, but we know better.
Often referencing the findings from a Harvard study that is mentioned further below, Bill quips that life is nothing but relationships, whether its parenting, counseling, marriage, sales, or business. Therefore, wherever we can work on them we should.
Bill has been married to his exceedingly patient wife Linda for 22 years. They have 3 amazing daughters and 3 male dogs. After living in Wilton, CT for 15 years, Bill and his family moved to Austin, TX in 2013.
He graduated from Middlebury College, VT in ’86 with a BA in English, and earned a Master of Science degree from Columbia University School of Social Work, NY in ’03
